How to Transfer to Excel 365 Online
LeadGrabber Pro enables you to transfer contact information from the grid to Excel 365 (Online). But before transferring the contact information to Excel 365, you need to login to your Office 365 or Microsoft account.
1. Login
To login,
- Click Options on the LeadGrabber Pro toolbar.
- Click Destination Setup.
- Select Excel 365(Online) from the LeadGrabber Pro – Destination Setup screen and click Transfer Options.
A dialog box prompts the user to login with your Office 365 account.
- Click on Click here to login
The eGrabber Office 365 Integration web page is displayed.
- Click on Click here to sign in
A Microsoft Sign-in dialog box is displayed.
- Enter your Office 365 or Microsoft account login credentials.
Once you have signed in, a Welcome screen is displayed.
You have logged into your Office 365 or Microsoft account via eGrabber and successfully integrated.
Notes:
1. You need to have an Office 365 or Microsoft account to login.
2. You need to have a valid LeadGrabber Pro Purchase key to work with Office 365.
3. Your Microsoft/Office 365 account should have permission to access OneDrive.
4. Once you have logged in, you don’t need to login for the next 90 days whenever you use Excel 365. You will have to login after 90 days.
2. Grant App Access
Once you have logged in, Microsoft pops up a window prompting the user to grant permission for the following:
- Maintain access to data you have given eGrabber Office365 Gateway access to – Enables eGrabber Office365 Gateway to see and update the data you gave access to, even if you are not currently using the app. This does not give any other additional permissions to eGrabber Office365 Gateway.
- Read you profile – Enables eGrabber Office365 Gateway to read your profile.
- Have full access to all files you have access to – Enables eGrabber Office365 Gateway to read, create, update and delete all files that are accessible.
- Click Yes to grant permission to eGrabber Office365 Gateway.
- Click No to cancel.
Note: eGrabber Office365 Gateway requests for permission only once. Once you have granted the permission, it will not ask again.
Once you have granted the permission, you can set up Excel 365 as your destination application.
Click Transfer Options on the LeadGrabber Pro – Destination Setup screen.
3. Select Excel 365 File
A Select File screen is displayed. It enables you to select your existing Excel 365 file or create a new Excel 365 file to transfer records.
Account Information
Displays your Office 365 account information – Name, Email and the link for eGrabber Office 365 Integration web page.
Excel Workbook name and location for transfer
Transfer to an existing Excel Workbook: This option is selected by default. LeadGrabber Pro transfers the records to your existing Excel 365 Workbook.
Select the Existing Excel Workbook:
- Click the ellipsis button next to this option to open an existing Excel 365 Workbook.
- Browse and locate your Excel file in the Open dialog box.
- Select the file and click Open.
Click Next to select the Excel 365 fields.
Create a New Excel Workbook:
LeadGrabber Pro also enables you to create a new Excel 365 Workbook and transfer contact information into this Workbook.
Select the option “Create a new Excel Workbook” and click the ellipsis button next to this option.
A Choose Excel File screen is displayed.
Enter the name of your Excel file under File name and click Create.
A new Excel file is created with the specified name.
Click Next to select Excel fields.
4. Select Excel 365 Fields
When you select an existing Excel file and click Next, the Select Fields dialog box appears where you can select the sheet and column headings.
The left pane displays all the sheets in the file and the right pane displays the column headings present in the selected sheet.
From the left pane, select the sheet(s) to which you want to transfer your records. The first sheet is selected by default.
The column headings present in the first row of the sheet are displayed by default in the right pane.
Select the fields to which you want to transfer data from the lead.
- Check All: Click here to select all the column headings.
- Clear All: Click here to remove the selection of all the column headings.
- Click Next to Map Fields
Select fields in the new Excel File
When you select the option Create a new Excel Workbook and click Next, you can create column headings.
The first sheet is selected by default.
Under Select Column(s), the column headings are displayed.
- Check All: Click to select all the column headings.
- Clear All: Click to remove the selection of all the column headings.
- Click Add/Edit Fields to create column headings for the selected sheet.
- Enter your field names in the Edit Fields dialog box. You can also edit the fields.
- Click OK.
The field names are displayed under Fields.
By default, all the column headings are selected. You can select / clear the fields.
Click Next to Map Fields.
5. Map Excel 365 Fields
After selecting the excel fields, you can map the fields of your Excel 365 Sheet to the internal fields used by LeadGrabber Pro.
Tip: If you have provided the field names in the Excel 365 file as the internal fields used by LeadGrabber Pro, then the contact field names are automatically mapped with the Excel column headers.
Example
Excel Column Headers: Select the column heading that you want to map to the contact field.
- Example: Map “Sheet1.Title” field to “Title”.
- Click AutoMap to automatically map the fields.
- Click Clear-Map to clear all the mappings.
Bring Excel to forefront after transfer: Select this option to display the Excel 365 file with the inserted contact information after transfer.
- Click Finish.
6. Transfer to Excel 365 (Online)
Now that you have set up Excel 365 (Online) as your destination application, you can now transfer the contacts from the LeadGrabber Pro grid to Excel 365 (Online) in a click.
- Select the relevant records from the grid.
- Select Excel 365 (Online) from the Transfer To list in the LeadGrabber Pro Grid toolbar.
- Click Transfer to save the selected records in Excel 365 (Online).
The destination Excel 365 file comes to the forefront with the transferred records.
