Getting Started with Coworker Emails

Coworker emails help you to reach your prospect through multiple contacts in a company. It helps you to reengage non-responsive prospects, increase engagement rates & sales conversions.
When you append a prospect’s email address, you will get their coworker’s and company email addresses found during the real-time research process.

This blog post will help you to learn how you can:
- Display Coworker Email and Company Email Columns in the grid
- Enable Exporting Coworker Email and Company Email Columns

1. How to display coworker email and company email columns in the grid?
When you append emails for your prospects, the coworker emails and company emails are automatically appended. To view the coworker emails and company emails in the grid, you need to ensure that you have enabled the Display Coworker Email and Company Email Columns option. By default, this option is enabled. You can choose to hide the Coworker Email & Company Email columns by unselecting this option and select it whenever it is required.
To display coworker & company email columns, try the following:
On the menu bar, click Tools > Coworker Email(s) > Display Coworker Email and Company Email Columns
A tick mark is displayed adjacent to the selected option.
You can also access the Coworker Email(s) option by right-clicking on the grid.
2. How to enable exporting coworker email and company email columns?
Now, you are able to view the found coworker emails and company emails in the grid. The emails are displayed in grey color.
But when you export the records from the grid or copy to Excel, the Coworker and Company Emails are not transferred.
You need to enable the export option to transfer coworker emails and company emails along with the contact records.
Try the following:
On the menu bar, click Tools > Coworker Email(s) >Enable Exporting Coworker Email and Company Email Columns
You can also access this option by right-clicking on the grid.
When you enable this option, the Coworker Emails and Company Emails are displayed in purple color. Now, the emails get exported along with other contact details.
3. View Email Append Summary
You can view the summary of the Append Email process at the bottom of the grid. The summary is for the current project and is based on the Append Email details that are available in the grid.
For example, we have appended emails for 10 records. The total number of rows that are available in the grid, the number of emails appended, number of coworker emails and company emails are displayed in the summary as shown below.
If in case we remove or delete 3 records from the grid, there are only 7 records in the grid.
The summary shows the Append Email details only for the 7 records that are available in the grid as shown below.
Similarly, the summary will not display the details for those records where email addresses could not be found.
4. How to transfer Coworker Email(s) and Company Email(s) to the project folders?
You can transfer the coworker emails and company emails to your current project folder or to a new project or to a different project folder that already exists.
To transfer coworker & company emails,
Select the records in the grid and click Tools > Coworker Email(s) >Transfer Coworker Email(s) and Company Email(s) on the menu bar.
You can also access this option by right-clicking on the grid.
Note: The Transfer Coworker Email(s) and Company Email(s) option is enabled only when the Enable Exporting Coworker Email and Company Email Columns option is selected.
A Transfer Coworker and Company Emails dialog box is displayed.
You can choose to transfer either Coworker Emails or Company Emails or both.
Transfer Option
By default, both these options are selected.
- Coworker Emails – Select this option to transfer Coworker Emails to the desired project.
- Company Emails – Select this option to transfer Company Emails to the desired project.
How to transfer coworker & company emails to the current project?
You can transfer coworker emails and company emails to your current project.
In the Transfer Coworker and Company Emails dialog box, select Add to current project option and click Transfer.
The selected Coworker/Company emails are transferred to your current project folder. The emails are added after the last record in the current project folder. This option is selected by default.
Once the emails are transferred, the following message is displayed.
How to transfer coworker & company emails to a new project?
You can also transfer the Coworker/Company emails to a new project folder.
In the Transfer Coworker and Company Emails dialog box, select Transfer to New Project option.
By default, a new project folder name is added based on your current project folder name.
You can also specify a name for the new project.
Click Transfer.
The following dialog box pops up confirming the successful transfer of coworker emails.
It displays the transferred project name and the current project name.
The Project name to which the coworker emails are transferred is displayed in blue color.
You can choose to open or not open the new project folder.
The company details along with the coworker emails of the selected records are transferred to the new project folder.
When you try to transfer coworker and company emails to the same project folder again, you get the following message.
Click Yes to proceed.
The emails are added to the existing data in the folder.
Click No to cancel.
How to transfer coworkers & company emails to a different project?
You can transfer coworkers & company emails to a different folder that already exists.
In the Transfer Coworker and Company Emails dialog box, select Transfer to different project option.
The list of existing project folders is displayed.
Select the desired project folder and click Transfer.
The following dialog box pops up confirming the successful transfer of coworker emails.
After transferring the selected Coworker/Company emails to the desired project folders, you can verify those emails or use the Reverse Email Lookup plug-in to find the people associated with the email addresses.
